The Hip Hostess Apron Giveaway

by Jacqueline Whitmore

Expresso Swirl Sheath Apron

The Internet is an amazing networking tool. Several months ago, I found The Hip Hostess on Twitter and started following the dynamic mother-daughter duo. Their beautiful, colorful handmade aprons made me perk up and take notice. I immediately went to their website to learn more about them and I fell in love with their products.

Everyone who knows me knows that I love to cook and I especially love doing it in style! After all, who doesn’t love wearing couture in the kitchen?! Whether you make it, bake it, or fake it, these aprons look attractive and I’m never embarrassed to open my front door and greet guests wearing one. Besides, I receive lots of compliments!

My friends at The Hip Hostess have agreed to graciously donate an apron to one of my blog readers. Their website offers all different styles in fun, whimsical colors. And the best part…they’re all machine washable!

With Easter being right around the corner, be sure to order yours. Or better yet…take part in my Hip Hostess Apron Giveaway! Here’s how to enter: Just drop a note in the comments section below by Thursday, March 31, 2011 by 11:59pm EST and tell me which apron you’d like to win and why. One lucky reader will be chosen at random and announced late next week.

But here’s the best part, everyone is a winner for this giveaway as The Hip Hostess is offering 25% off all of their aprons when you use Promo Code SPRING25 at checkout if you order by March 31, 2011.

Good luck! And a great big virtual hug to the ladies at The Hip Hostess!

  6. Bernadette on March 25th, 2011 11:47 pm

I really like the “Espresso Swirl” but I totally love the “Dinner in Paris” sheath apron! I like it the most because a true (and super-awesome) hostess should have an ultra fabulous apron so that she looks amazing with and without it. ;o) (Plus, it’ll match my new kitchen decor.)

  7. Michelle Webb Fandrich on March 26th, 2011 12:11 am

I would LOVE to win the Merry Mixers Sheath apron!

  8. Christie M. on March 26th, 2011 2:53 pm

I love the Dinner in Paris Sheath apron; I would love to win…since I turned 30 last year, I have starting cooking and learning to be a hostess—even as a single gal, it can be soo much fun to be a great hostess.

  9. Cynthia on March 26th, 2011 3:10 pm

The Avocado a la Mode reminds me of the Hippest Hostess I ever knew – my Great Aunt Muriel. She used to wear a green avocado green apron back in the 60’s and 70’s while hosting family parties and dinners with style – I’d love to win this one in her honor.

  10. Jorie Scholnik on March 26th, 2011 11:40 pm

I would be so excited to win the Hot Pink Icing apron! The color of the apron makes me actually want to spend time in the kitchen and learn how to cook! Even if my dish turned out less than perfect, I would still look cute trying!

  11. Sue on March 27th, 2011 11:15 am

I’d love to win the expresso apron – it’s cute enought that it may divert people’s attention away from my sometimes less than perfect cooking!

  12. Arden Clise on March 27th, 2011 7:06 pm

I teach the “diplomatic etiquette” class for my school and we need an “awesome” stylish apron for my students to cook in!
Hope to win the red & white “blender” apron for my students.

    Love your e-newletter!
I refresh myself all the time with it. I even went to Palm Beach in January and stayed at the Breakers for research for an advanced course we are implementing.

Wanted to meet you…maybe next trip?

Many Thanks for ALL you share,

  28. Deidre Johnson on March 31st, 2011 7:50 pm

I am so excited that I first saw this website here on your site. Such grace and style added to cooking when these aprons are worn. I would love “Dinner in Paris” because my daughter’s name is Milan and through cooking we experience traveling. She is only 12 years old, but from the age of 9 told me that she wants to go to Milan, Italy for her 16th birthday. “Dinner in Paris” adds to our travels!

  29. Corinne Majosky on April 1st, 2011 1:44 am
