Summertime Watermelon Martini Recipe

by Jacqueline Whitmore

In the evenings before dinner, I like to have a little drinkee-poo. And since watermelon is refreshing and delicious in the summer (and good for your health), here’s a yummy watermelon martini recipe you’ll want to try!

What you’ll need:
4 oz. fresh watermelon juice (I use a Breville juicer)
3 oz. vodka (use less if you prefer a weaker drink)
1 small lime

Combine vodka, watermelon juice, lime juice, and ice in a martini shaker. Shake well and pour into a frozen martini glass. Garnish with fresh watermelon balls or watermelon ice cubes and enjoy!

    Watermelon martinis??
I thought you had a deadline! (giggle)
Am looking forward to testing the recipe later today…
Suggestion for a post: Hot weather etiquette – especially when entire neighborhood has no power…

Great idea, Dale! Tempers can run short in this hot, humid climate!

Have something to add?
